On Femininity and Womanhood

I created three spot illustrations on the topic of femininity and womanhood after reading an article about breastfeeding on The New Yorker webpage. Of course there are many sides to femininity, and gender identity is a fluid spectrum, but I wanted to focus on one small window of this area that I haven't explored much myself and wanted to show the nurturing, calm, and creating side of womanhood.

I wanted to use gentle color schemes that have a calming and harmonious effect, and tried to use balanced and symmetrical compositions that make the audience feel grounded.
